Updates W.8

Hi!

This week have been pretty productive. We have added another mission addon called Wicked AI. It's basically a mission engine kind of like DZMS but "WAI" - Wicked AI. Have support for advanced static missions. So we added a base to Skalisty Island down south and added some fierce bandits for you guys to watch out for.

We have also done alot of tweaking when it comes to the database - Trader items, base decay and so on. Unfortunately. The database isnt very clear on what every possible option do in the long run. I really think we nailed it this time though, but we dont really find out until 14 days have passed. This is pretty harsh on you guys because you spend alot of hours building your bases. If your base should get deleted we apologice in advance. It is really not our intent!

Anyway, the server have been up and running for like a month now and we must have beat some kind of a record for addons and scripts added under this time. That is probably why you are experiencing some troubles with bugs and what not. But I advice you too overlock this for now because DayZ is pretty buggy as it is out of the box and we are working every evening on making this the best server out there. It will take some time, but we will get there!

We also had a little mishap with the database today. For some reason the epoch database was gone when we enterd mySQL. I dont know what happened but for some reason it was all gone. We managed to get back on track by adding a new clean database called epoch and then do a server rollback but since our host had some downtime during the weekend all our scheduled tasks such as database backup had been reseted and stopped. Thats why we never had any restarts during saturday evening or database backups. So we had to choose a backup from 4PM on saturday. I know its frustrating but shit happens and you guys have to retrace your steps on what you did during sunday and monday.

Anyway. Enough about boring scrpting issues. We (atleast I Trollet) feel that we have done alot of addons and scripting now for like a month to get the server to where we wanted from the beginning. I know that some of you guys feel like there is some stuff missing in the game such as some vehicles and so on. I feel like we can do it but for now I just want to play the game and take care of some of the glitches and bugs before we add more. Even if its just a simple vehicle. So dont worry, we will probably add it but not right now.

I just want to end this by telling you guys that if you experience some bugs or abnormal behaviour or if you have been banned on faulty terms. Feel free to submit an e-mail. And we will read it and get in touch with you as soon as possible. - No questions are dumb or bad questions. Theres only dumb answers...
